Wellington Management is working towards greener, cleaner, and more efficient buildings. We are currently running audits through Xcel Energy to pinpoint where our buildings waste energy, thus allowing us to make cost-effective changes to use less energy and save our tenants money.
We are proud to announce the acquisition of our newest, greenest building, the Minneapolis Green Institute. This building was constructed in 1993 in an effort to make a sustainable and functional building. Today it stands as a model of sustainability and energy conscious building. Wellington Management is excited to be a part of this new venture and marks our commitment to green initiatives.
Another exciting green project we are working on is a LEED (Leadership in Environmental and Energy Design) certified office/mixed-use building that we hope will help set a standard for energy efficient and green buildings in the Twin Cities.
